In great vintage condition, original painted toleware, lightly distressed with nice aged patina. Rewired for your country, with all new electrical components – suitable for use worldwide. Each sconce takes one small screw-in candle bulb.

Charming pair of French painted tôleware wall sconces, decorated with stylised oak leaves and foliage in muted shades of green, ochre and brown. The hand-formed foliage has a simple, slightly naïve quality, with the softly aged painted finish adding to their rustic decorative appeal. Each sconce has two candle-style lights surrounded by the foliage. A particularly attractive pair when lit. French, circa 1970.  Wear consistent with age and use.
