French Wrought Iron Crown Game Hanger Chandelier c1900Hand-crafted provincial French wrought iron four ‘faux’ candlelight chandelier with four ‘naive’ animal silhouettes (stag, deer, dog, cow) and four game hooks, surrounding a domed crown with heart and barley twist detailing. This wonderfully crafted and heavy piece (weighing in at 10kg/22lbs) was originally made for use with candles and later converted to electricity. In excellent antique condition, completely rewired with all new electrical components and card candle tubes, and suitable for use worldwide. The dimensions given are without the chain. Each arm is finished with a turned wooden bobeche and a ‘faux’ candle light, topped off with charming, all original, polka dot velveteen shades -which of course, can be changed to suit your personal preference.
