Pair of Brutalist tripod Stools C1950 attributed to Jean Touret/Atelier Marolles. A nice duo of handcrafted gouge-work stools with a beautiful primitive look. Well made, solid, and sound, with nice grain, good patina, and in great vintage condition. A really nice example of mid-century handmade Brutalist style seating that will sit easily in a wide array of interior styles.

French provincial pine dining tables from the South West region of France, C1980. These simple but stylish, artisan-made wooden slatted tables sit easily in almost any setting. At six and a half feet long, they sit eight people comfortably. These tables were used for outside dining, under a covered terrace, until recently but they would also work in an interior setting. Practical and versatile and in good vintage condition. Solid, sturdy and strong, they have been refinished for protected exterior use.

French Provincial pine benches from the South West region of France C1980. These simple but stylish, artisan-made wooden ‘bancs’ sit easily in almost any setting. At over five feet long they sit three people comfortably, great for either side of a long dining table.  They were used for outside dining, under a covered terrace, until recently. Practical and versatile they would also work well as seating in a hallway, corridor or boot room. In good vintage condition, solid, sturdy and strong, they have been refinished for protected exterior use. We also have two matching tables available, please see our other listings. Gorgeous Louis XVI Revival four-post double bed from mid-century France. A specially commissioned footless bed in dark stained cherry wood. All original, in great vintage condition, with nice age-related patina. This bed is a European kingsize, slightly larger than US Queensize/UK Kingsize, and will accommodate a bed base and mattress up to 203cm/80in long and 164cm/64.5in wide or 174.5cm/68.7in over the full width of the bed. Charming Octagonal bobbin wood tripod side table C1900 France. A nicely crafted walnut table with a trimmed octagonal polished top and three beautifully turned graduated bobbin wood legs. In good antique condition, some minor losses and old restorations to the table edge, not distracting. This table easily dismantles, by unscrewing the turned legs, for easy transportation.

Hand-crafted provincial French wrought iron four ‘faux’ candlelight chandelier with four ‘naive’ animal silhouettes (stag, deer, dog, cow) and four game hooks, surrounding a domed crown with heart and barley twist detailing. This wonderfully crafted and heavy piece (weighing in at 10kg/22lbs) was originally made for use with candles and later converted to electricity. In excellent antique condition, completely rewired with all new electrical components and card candle tubes, and suitable for use worldwide. The dimensions given are without the chain. Please let us know your desired overall drop and we will supply the length of chain required.
