A rare four-light period lighting piece with an illuminated crystal cut, glass beaded basket, three branch arms with original frosted glass blooms on a bronze and brass frame with black and gold empire detailing.
A gorgeous period chandelier in good antique condition with nice age-related patina. Originally a gas-fired light, this piece was later converted to electric and has now been completely rewired with all new electrical parts. Suitable for use worldwide.

Hand-crafted provincial French wrought iron four ‘faux’ candlelight chandelier with four ‘naive’ animal silhouettes (stag, deer, dog, cow) and four game hooks, surrounding a domed crown with heart and barley twist detailing. This wonderfully crafted and heavy piece (weighing in at 10kg/22lbs) was originally made for use with candles and later converted to electricity. In excellent antique condition, completely rewired with all new electrical components and card candle tubes, and suitable for use worldwide. The dimensions given are without the chain. A beautiful pair of Dutch brass repoussé wall light sconces C1850. Convex octagonal backplates with circular crowns, each with two candle lights, and all wonderfully hand embossed with love hearts, fruit, and flowers. More recently converted for electricity, these sconces would have been originally used for candle lighting and the removable bobeche candle holders would have been carried to light the way. In great antique condition with good patina, clean but not over polished. Completely rewired with all new electrical components, these lights could be reconverted for use with candles again – please ask for details.
