French Provincial pine benches from the South West region of France C1980. These simple but stylish, artisan-made wooden ‘bancs’ sit easily in almost any setting. At over five feet long they sit three people comfortably, great for either side of a long dining table. They were used for outside dining, under a covered terrace, until recently. Practical and versatile they would also work well as seating in a hallway, corridor or boot room. Hand-crafted provincial French wrought iron four ‘faux’ candlelight chandelier with four ‘naive’ animal silhouettes (stag, deer, dog, cow) and four game hooks, surrounding a domed crown with heart and barley twist detailing. This wonderfully crafted and heavy piece (weighing in at 10kg/22lbs) was originally made for use with candles and later converted to electricity. In excellent antique condition, completely rewired with all new electrical components and card candle tubes, and suitable for use worldwide. The dimensions given are without the chain.
