Antique French Butchers Block Table
This French Antique Butcher Block table came from a village ‘Boucherie’ in the Landes region of South West France and dates from the late 19th century. The ‘butchers block’ is a later replacement.
The top is made of rectangular blocks of wood laid vertically to the surface, and is supported by four sturdy fluted legs with ball feet. The apron has a central drawer and the removable wooden credence features a cows head.
In good original condition very heavy sturdy and strong with wear and tear consistent with age and use and some old worm nothing distracting
